K is for Kidney

For three years, while Kim Montalvo struggled on dialysis, Dan Caruso repeatedly offered her one of his kidneys. At his 40th birthday party, he told her it's either now or never. He gave her two conditions for donating his kidney: she must agree to take her medications and to only drink imported beer.
